Basic Safety

Construction workers may be exposed to many safety and health hazards while on the job site. These include chemical hazards, fire hazards, electrical hazards, confined space hazards, height hazards, etc. Basic Safety Training for Construction should present an overview of some basic workplace hazards and how employees can protect themselves from them, and when work practice controls alone are not sufficient personal protective equipment must be used and provided. Basic safety training would cover basic behavioral safety techniques, preplan the project and the daily work, identify unsafe behaviors and conditions in the work place, conducting quality safety inspections, root cause analysis (why your employee is working unsafe), taking corrective action, and hazard analyses (do’s and don’ts).
