A Safety Specialist ensures a safe work environment by inspecting for potential hazards, conducting safety training, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations. Safety specialists work at avoiding future hazards or accidents by assessing how accidents happened initially and then what needs to change to avoid them in the future. They also design programs to prevent disease or injury to workers and damage to the environment.
